KWIS-Review is a powerful module of the Kiara Web Inspection System designed for defect review, analysis, and documentation. It enables operators and supervisors to inspect captured defects, verify AI-agent predictions, perform roll-based evaluations, and generate customized PDF reports. This catalog highlights every epic and its feature set to help internal teams, customers, and sales & marketing personnel understand the scope and capabilities of the Review module.
User must configure master information and server details for both backend and frontend communication.
Available through the KVP application and must be launched from within KVP.
User roles such as Admin, Supervisor, and Operator are managed in KVP and fully supported by the system.
During review, the AI agent suggests actions for each defect. If a suggestion is incorrect, the user can modify it, and these suggestions can also be applied as filters.
User can review corrected AI agent suggestions, which help in improving overall AI agent performance.
User can improve an existing AI agent using correction images. The updated model is added only if it performs better than the previous one on benchmark tests.
User can add an available AI agent by specifying its name.
User can select and delete an AI agent when it is no longer required.
Displays roll details captured from the inspection software, including Roll ID, Quality Code, and total defects. Also shows the average defect distance and overall score.
Displays the distribution of total defects across each category for quick visual analysis.
Displays the inspection speed to help monitor roll processing performance.
User can edit notes added during the review, which serve as a summary for the roll.
User can download a PDF report for the roll based on the selected configuration.
Displays defect data in a tabular format, including image, size, ID, category, and more. The table supports sorting by parameters and includes pagination for easy navigation.
Module settings allow the Admin to manage module visibility for different user roles and enable or disable specific features as required.
User can manage tags — create, edit, and delete them as needed.
User can add, edit, and delete quality codes, along with their associated settings and parameters.
User can create, edit, and delete multiple PDF configurations, and customize them with customer logos, slitting information, and AI agent prediction graphs.
System stores all error logs with corresponding error codes for troubleshooting and analysis.
System records all user activities in the System Logs for tracking and audit purposes.
All software and hardware components record their states — Available, Connected, Running, and Fault — in the Component State Log.
User can switch between masters, and data will be fetched from the selected master.
User can select a specific date and time range to display rolls processed within that period.
User can filter rolls by custom tags, roll status (Inspected, Reviewed, Repaired), and recipe.
User can delete roll data with a confirmation popup — only an Admin is authorized to perform this action.
User can tag a roll with one or multiple tags for easy identification and filtering.
User can edit the Roll ID when required.
User can visualize the data status of each roll using the KVP Archive Manager, which manages the complete data lifecycle — Archived, Live, Backup, and Removed.
If a roll’s data status is Archived or Backup, the user can recover it to move the data back to Live status.
All rolls matching the selected filters are displayed in a table format, including details such as Roll ID, start time, end time, and total defects. The table also allows users to sort roll data by time and other parameters.
The fabric map displays all defects identified during inspection. Defect colors represent their types, while dot sizes indicate defect size. The X and Y grid shows the fabric width and roll length.
Displays each identified defect with its ID, X and Y position, width, height, and category. Double-clicking opens the full image, and defects are sorted based on Y location.
User can filter defects by type, size, status (Deleted, Merged, Repaired, Spliced, Suggested for Removal), AI agent prediction, location, camera group, camera ID, and slitting ID.
User can add review notes during the evaluation process.
User can double-click a defect to open its full image, view camera name and group, and zoom or drag for detailed inspection.
User can specify width tolerance and view all measured points in both Image Mode and Graph Mode.
User can choose narrower or wider width limits to view variation points accordingly.
User can mark a roll as done, which automatically updates its status to “Reviewed.”
User can select multiple defects and merge them — a new combined defect is created.
User can delete one or multiple defects at once.
Edit the defect’s category, or give it your own name.
